Seared Chophouse – Greenville’s Premier Spot for Steak, Craft Drinks, and Warm Hospitality

I have been coming here for a few years. I was hesitant about the menu changing as our a year ago but it has been substantially better. When you walk into Seared, the atmosphere is always welcoming and the service is consistently high quality. My personal experience sitting at the bar, I’m always greeted within a few seconds to less than a minute at most and accommodated. Jordan and Taylor had a full bar tonight and they didn’t miss a beat! Lainey, the manager is always welcoming and adds additional assistance whenever needed whether you are at the bar or table. The menu has a solid range of options based on cheaper to more expensive dishes. The bar tenders provide detailed explanations based on what you may be looking for whether it’s food or alcohol. I’d say I really want drafts to become available again. In the meantime, they always keep you in the loop with the common and unique beers that are available. Overall, really great service and experience!

Had a group of 7 and we were seated immediately. The waiter was very attentive to our needs. Everyone was pleased with their meal!

Long time listener, first time caller… or reviewer I guess. Anyway, Seared is one of the few actual places left in Greenville with solid food, a great ambiance and incredibly professional bar staff. I thoroughly enjoy the French Onion soup, with some added broth because I like to stand out. It is a perfect place for a relaxing drink, and a good crowd of bar patrons that like to engage in fun, witty banter. I am constantly impressed by the ladies tending bar, they always remember me and address me in a welcoming and “warm” manner. The difference in ordinary and extraordinary is just that little “extra” and Seared has got it. 10/10

We went for a Wine Night pairing. When I say the food was fantastic.... chef's kiss!! We owe all of that to Laney!!! We called ahead of time to check about dietary restrictions before we bought tickets to the event. My wife is allergic to shellfish and there are various things I can't eat. She assured us that they are usually accommodating. The way this girl almost threw herself on top of my wife's shrimp-ridden hoe cake... I'm exaggerating a little, but she really saw a shrimp hoe cake in front of my wife and was like "No. There's an allergy here." It was very much seen and appreciated. Thank you, Laney, for making our night special!! Chef Spencer was also a delight and made sure to come around to all the tables to ask if we were enjoying the food. 10/10

Had a really good meal here tonight. Got the tradition steak and shrimp pasta, the pork belly bites, and the house salad. Everything turned out incredibly good. Waitress (believe her name was Bria) was incredibly nice and made us feel welcome.
